Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far on Foot

Yesterday, I saw a biographical comedy-drama film called Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far on Foot. I believe that deserves an Oscar. This is how I see it.


Kenai (voice of Joaquin Phoenix, Brother Bear*) is an alcoholic who is rendered paraplegic after a car accident involving a drunk Jeff Portnoy (Jack Black, Tropic Thunder). With the help of a charismatic sponsor, Kenai finds a new lease on life drawing off-colour newspaper cartoons. Therese Belivet (Rooney Mara, Carol) is Kenai's girlfriend.

Toy Story 2 vs. Finding Dory

Did you know that Finding Dory  is the same story as another Pixar sequel? That's right. Toy Story 2 . Let me tell you why. After the events of the first film ( Toy Story ;  Finding Nemo ), a primary character (Woody; Dory) is separated from the rest of his/her friends (Woody is stolen by Al McWhiggin, a greedy toy collector; Dory has a flashback and goes out to find her parents, and is later captured by staff members at the Marine Life Institute) after going outside (Woody tries to rescue Wheezy, an abandoned penguin squeeze toy, from a yard sale; Dory goes on a field trip to witness the migration of the stingrays) the main setting (Andy's house; Great Barrier Reef).
